Mum, I eat okra now!/maMA, TROo BAmies!

Mum, I eat okra now is a devised performance that talks about real experiences of Greek immigrants in the UK and is presented in an immersive and playful way. Our script has been inspired by questionnaires we handed out to Greek immigrants in the UK. Our main aim is to bring British people and immigrants closer together. We, also, want to express our thankfulness to our land of immigration and, finally, promote the Greek presence in the country.

It has been a non-profitable event so far that took place at the Crouch end festival and at the Hellenic Centre in July 2022.
