Mum, I eat okra now!

"Mum, I Eat Okra Now" is a devised performance that explores real-life experiences of Greek immigrants in the UK, presented in an immersive and playful manner. The script is inspired by responses to questionnaires distributed among Greek immigrants in the UK. The primary aim of this performance is to foster a closer relationship between indigenous people and immigrants. Additionally, it seeks to express gratitude to our land of immigration and to promote the Greek presence within it.

This has been a non-profit event, featured at the Crouch End Festival and the Hellenic Centre in July 2022.
